I used to wish that you'd know me.
Before knowing that our dream was just a myth.

I let you rule my mind.
Didn't suspect a bit, of what was making me sick.
I didn't care about myself.
From you, I learned what was narcissistic.
I have finally cracked the code.
Now I know, that it was all a trick.
I had never suspected a thing.
Hallucinating to the taste of your lipstick.

I'll keep you warm, I'll tuck you tight.
You'll never want to leave.

You'll lose track of time, you'll realize.
My love is addictive.

I'll hold your hands, I'll make you dance.

We'll go on a walk, I'll make you laugh.
You'll forget your way back home.

What could have been if promises were enforced?
A price to pay for every broken promises.
Would people still make them and take them lifelong.
Promises will be extinct, if I know the people where I'm from.
Where I'm from, people would die if they made promises.
People will cry from all the punishments.
Only the bravest could make a promise,
with no bad intentions, who's disciplined and honest.

Looking at a mirror, I have made my fair share.
Most have been broken while some are safe.
When I think about my promises, it fills me with rage.
Writing poems to calm down is just one of the ways.
For me, the cost of a promise was rage and pain.
Lost some of myself that now I cannot gain.
A promise can make a bond so strong, that's unheard of.
But, don't you dare make a promise when you know you can not love.

Following trends like a bunch of minions.

It's never true that something is always bad.
Even death's pretty, losing something you once had.

I'm so desperate, I don't even fear death.

Fluffy coat around my heart that's hollow.
